For large travels and heavy-duty cutting capacity in a vertical spindle, Haas offers the VS Series large-frame, bed-style vertical machining centers. These machines feature a 50-taper, geared-head spindle and a 30+1 tool side-mount tool changer. The fully supported X-axis travels easily handle parts weighing up to 10,000 lb.
