Electrical Testing Laboratory

All Haas CNC machine tools carry the ETL Listed mark, certifying that they conform to the NFPA 79 Electrical Standard for Industrial Machinery and the Canadian equivalent, CAN/CSA C22.2 No. 73. The ETL Listed and cETL Listed marks are awarded to products that have successfully undergone testing by Intertek Testing Services, an alternative to Underwriters' Laboratories.

Intertek Testing Services (ITS) is a laboratory accredited by the National Institute of Standards and Technology. Additionally, ITS is designated as a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory by OSHA, and is accredited by the Standards Council of Canada as a Testing Organization and Certification Organization.

Products that comply with ITS program guidelines are qualified to bear the ETL Listed and cETL Listed marks.

Haas Automation, Inc., has been a leader in the design and manufacture of CNC machine tools and accessories since the mid 1980s. Maintaining that leadership position requires continuous attention to improving processes in all areas of the company. Haas developed a quality management system early on, to ensure that manufacturing procedures and product quality were constantly advancing.

In 2001, Haas Automation formalized its quality management system to meet the requirements for ISO 9001:2000 certification. It was largely a matter of training employees in ISO procedures, and modifying the existing system to conform to the most current ISO standards.

ISO certification requires ongoing evaluation, and Haas Automation undergoes twice-yearly reviews to ensure that the quality systems are maintained. Our continued compliance assures that we will provide the highest-quality products and services possible.

In 2011, Haas Automation received ISO 9001:2008 certification from International Standards Authority, Inc. (an ISO registrar). This achievement affirms Haas Automation's conformance with the standards set forth by the International Organization for Standardization, and acknowledges the Haas commitment to meeting the needs and requirements of its customers in the global marketplace.
